They rejected our update v1.2.0 to iDrop Dead, that bloody physics ragdoll game. So we replaced blood with flowers and bones with candy. I hope that should make them totally... happy!
iDrop Dead: Flower Edition will be released after Apple approves it. On iPhone & iPod Touch, and it'll be FREE for one day!

Yeah, it sucks... They have special rules for ragdoll games, which they will tell you on the phone (so no paper trail), later, after they've rejected your game, so you can do it again.
You probably shouldve just submitted repeatedly until a less troublesome submission moderator got it.

wait a minute, theres a game where you take control of a beer can and "drink" out of it, there's a hand game where you have to put the finger in between aech of the fingers as fast as you can (WHICH AS BLOOD!), there's a game where wierd creatures are chasing after you and you have to kill them (THIS HAS BLOOD IN IT!) and assassins creed which has mild blood, but they won't settle for a pinnata being tortured?!

Yeah, it's ok according to Apple to shoot a hooker right between her eyes with a shotgun and watch her brains scatter, and then rob her corpse, as long as it's not a ragdoll game. They have "special" rules for ragdoll games.

If you have the simulator and a pirated version of the game, then I think you can.
Maybe add a hidden easter egg for the blood feature, so hard to find they wouldnt find it, and once they let it be released tell everyone how to activate it! No that wouldn't work :(
I wonder if they would be more lenient if you made it optional to turn on the blood or flowers etc... plus, having the choice of blood and flowers and such would be awesome!
As long as it's a ragdoll game it cannot have any fluids coming out of the ragdolls, and the dolls cannot be human like in any way. That's what Richard of Apple told me on the phone.

If it doesn't have ragdolls, then there's nothing to fear of.
Apple suck. Also, no fluids can come out of the ragdolls? That really does suck. Good luck. Also, did you make the one for the iTouch in flash?
Thanks, we sure thing need luck when dealing with Apple's reviewers... Nope, the iTouch version is made in C, C++ and Objective C, all mixed together. ;)

It sucks that they wont accept the new update on this, but they have Grand Theft Auto style games on the store.
It's ok to kill realistic looking people, but not to hurt stuffed animals that enjoy getting ripped to pieces...
